My Life as Military Wife

In 1957 I married my husband Willie Pinkston. He was an E4 and we moved to Ft Rucker Al and stayed 2 years then on to Fairbanks Alaska staying 5 years. Two children later back to Ft Rucker where another child was born. Then on to Germany. That was a wonderful experience.
Then back to Ft Riley where my husband got ready for Vietnam. This was an emotional roller coaster. Then when he came home back to Ft Rucker we went. Retirement came in 1973 and we moved to Lakeland Fl. Our years with the Army were wonderful. Had to do a lot of growing up. Thank You. Sonja E Pinkston
