Stories of Services

My name is Sharron Stevens. I want people to know how proud of my family for serving their country and community. My husband was a Marine for over 13 years before he was medically discharged with a heart problem. He served in Viet Nam twice. My father was in the Coast Guard during World War II . I had an Uncle who served in the Korean war as a Marine. My two Son-in-laws were both Marines.

One served in Dessert Storm and the other served in Afghanistan, and retired after 24 years in the Marines. I have 7 grandsons and 5 of them have served their country. Two Marines, Two Army and one Air Force. Three of them are still serving. A sixth grandson is a police officer. So, you can see why I am very proud of my family. and how patriotic I am as an American. My family has served in every conflict since World War II.
