My husband jerry and I meet at the American legion where he was bartending, friends of ours introduced us that was 43 yrs ago, we got married 6 yrs,after we meet, and though there was 18 yrs difference in age, we had a lot in common, loved doing things together, , fishing, playing bingo, going out to dinner, watching sports,we were always there for one another. No matter what.then in 2020 he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, he fought hard he ended up in a nursing home the end of 2023 , though it all I fought with him and was by his side, in Jan of 2026 he really went downhill fast in and out of the hospital, until my dear, sweetheart,my husband of37 yrs took his last breath on the night of may 11 th 2026 at 11:29 pm. My world is crushed, I miss him so much, he was a good man, and loved being a navy veteran. I am forever is,wife and love him forever. Thank you.
