Stories of Services
Congressmen Wesley Hunt
Congressman Wesley Hunt here from the great state of Texas, Congressional District 38. West Point Grad, someone that served eight years active duty as an Apache helicopter driver, one deployment to Iraq, two deployments to Saudi Arabia. And that kind of service is what set me up for continuing to serve my country in this capacity.
And what we need is we need young, brilliant minds to step into the breach to continue to defend this great country for the future. And while I am doing this now in the halls of Congress, Lord knows that I would not be here if I didn’t understand the sacrifices that I made before for this country. May God continue to bless our troops.
May God continue to bless the young people that choose to give their lives to defend this great nation. And again, that is why the future of this country is very bright. It is because of the American soldier.
God bless you.
