I served in the United States Marine Corps because I had family that served in the Marine Corps. Growing up I saw my Uncles’ boot camp photo in his dress blues and told my family that I wanted to be like him. As i grew older and watching the news about all the conflict in the Middle East it just solidified my choice in wanting to serve. I knew that if I was able to I would.
